The District is offering in-person Summer School for TK - 8th Grade. Registration is now open. To enroll, please go to https://enroll.lausd.net/

The 5th grade classes will have their Culmination ceremony on Friday, June 10th in the auditorium. Families will be given 3 tickets. The schedule for each 5th grade classroom is as follows:

8:30am - Mrs. Sunderland, Mrs. Silva, & Mrs. Devore (selected students)

10:00am - Mrs. Allen & Mrs. Devore (selected students)

11:30am - Mrs. Wilton

We will have minimum days on Wednesday, June 8th, Thursday, June 9th, and Friday, June 10th. Students will be dismissed at 12:39pm on minimum days. Our last day of the school year will be Friday, June 10th.

The District is providing free Covid-19 vaccines for children. Vaccinations will be available at Capistrano on June 2nd from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. You must schedule an appointment on the daily pass site at https://dailypass.lausd.net/.

School will be closed on Monday, May 30th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. Students will return to classes on Tuesday, May 31st.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will begin testing online with the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) beginning the week of May 10th through May 27. Please make sure your child goes to sleep at a reasonable time and arrives at school by the first bell. Encourage them to take their time and do their best on the test. May 24th - American Day - Wear Red, White, or Blue.
May 25th - Olympic Day - Wear your favorite jersey.
May 26th - Cultural Pride Day - Dress in traditional clothing from your home country
May 27th - Hawaiian Day - Dress in Hawaiian inspired clothing.

School will be closed for winter break from Monday, December 20th to Friday, January 7th, 2022. School will resume on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022. All students, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to have proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to come onto campus on January 11.
