Come and join us for Math Night on Thursday, October 12th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. We will begin our night with food sales followed by math activities in the auditorium from 6 - 7 p.m.

LAUSD staff will be holding a meeting to inform parents and community members about our school's Pavement and Landscaping Upgrade Project. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium.

Join us on Friday, September 8th in the Parent Center for our first PTA meeting. The meeting will begin at 8:05 a.m. Come and participate!

Classes will begin, for the 2017-2018 school year, on Tuesday, August 15. Keep in mind that the school's main gate opens at 7:30 a.m., with the first bell ringing at 7:55 a.m., and our final bell at 8:00 a.m. Parents, please remember that parking and morning drop-off will be very busy that day, so plan on arriving at school by 7:45 a.m. Dismissal will be at 1:23 p.m. on that first Tuesday and every following Tuesday throughout the year.

We want to wish our Capistrano students and their families a restful and enjoyable summer break. We will see you on Tuesday, August 15th for the start of the 2017-2018 school year.

Friday, June 9th, will be our last day of the school year. Students will have minimum days, 12:39 pm dismissal, on Thursday, June 8th and Friday June 9th.

Our 3rd through 5th grade students will begin testing online with the Smarter Balanced Assessment beginning April 18. Please make sure your child goes to sleep at a reasonable time and arrives at school by the first bell. Encourage them to take their time and do their best on the test.

Students will be on Spring Break from April 10-14. Classes will resume Monday, April 17.
